According to information reviewed by Bloomberg, a copy has been sliding around to potential investors during January- December, highlighting the opportunity to invest in xAI as part of the "Muskonomy". xAI gets trained on data from X (formerly Twitter).
Additionally, the slide deck draws attention to the successful growth trajectory of OpenAI. As of now, xAI's only product offering is Grok, a chatbot assistant only available to subscribers of X+.
xAI is seeking investment at a $15-20 billion valuation, with only 20 employees. (That’s a $1 billion valuation per employee!). Several employees have a long history working with AI, with some having a background in Google’s Deepmind.
